Tex Blue’s Pool Service Guarantees
With Tex Blue Pools’ full-service and partial-service pool cleaning, you’re covered by a number of rock-solid guarantees.
Note: Chemical-Only service plans are excluded from the pool cleaning guarantee and algae free guarantee, but are covered by our maintenance report guarantee and water chemical balance guarantee.
Weekly Pool Cleaning Guarantee
If you find that the pool cleaning isn’t satisfactory, just let us know within the next 36 hours of the visit and we’ll gladly re-clean it, free of charge! Letting us know as soon as possible helps us make sure that we can get down to the potential causes and correct them as quickly as we can.
Additionally, please be aware that pool vacuuming, netting, and other pool floor cleaning services are only included in the Full-Service Level. If you’re currently at one of the Partial-Service Levels and would like these services performed weekly, you can upgrade for just a few additional dollars per week.
This Guarantee ensures you that if you are unsatisfied with the service you receive and you notify us within 36 hours of that service, then we will re-clean your pool and make sure that all the items on your Pool Maintenance Report have been performed for free! And if for some reason we are unable to perform the cleaning again, or the re-cleaning is still not the level of service you expect and deserve, this Guarantee means that we will issue a full refund on that visit, provided that you notified us within the first 36 hours of the visit.
Service Report Guarantee
Pool Service Reports are an important record of the work performed at your swimming pool. If you ever you don’t receive a service report for your weekly service and we are unable to retrieve it for you from our software system (complete with a record of work performed and chemicals added) we will promptly issue a full refund for service visits that are not documented.
Properly Balanced Water Chemistry Guarantee
At no additional costs, customers under any of our service planscan expect that we will correct any normal water balancing issues provided the following:
Pool equipment is in proper working order and no relevant quotes provided by Beyond Blue Pools have been declined by client
Pool equipment runs for the appropriate amount of time each day (10-12 hours per day during the spring and summer; 8-10 hours per day during the fall; 7-8 hours per day during the winter)
Pool water level has been consistently and properly maintained
There is no landscaping touching the water of the pool or spa
Filter has been properly maintained with filter cleanings and replacing filter elements as needed
Service has not been interrupted
The following are covered in this Proper Balanced Chemistry Guarantee:
Chlorine
pH (potential hydrogen)
TA (Total Alkalinity)
Salt (if your pool has a working salt generator)
Startup chemicals such as Cyanuric Acid (also known as Stabilizer, CYA or Conditioner) and Calcium, which are needed to convert tap water to swimming pool water, are NOT included in this Guarantee. These chemicals are known to gradually build up in pool water over the years as very small amounts of them are added through regular use of chlorine. A full or partial drain and water refill may be needed when these chemicals get out of range since there is no way to chemically reduce them. On average, chlorine pools will need a drain and refill every 2-3 years.
Should you encounter this situation, we can provide a quote for the full or partial drain and water refill. However, if performed by a customer or another swimming pool service company and startup chemicals are not added, then Beyond Blue will quote the cost of adding the startup chemicals needed that are not included in our regular full service or basic service plan.
In addition, because of impurities in the tap water that will also build up over time, a full or partial drain and refill is often needed every 3-6 years. These impurities are an additional item and separate from Cyanuric Acid and Calcium, commonly referred as “Total Dissolved Solids” or “TDS,” and these are NOT included as well.
This Guarantee ensures that, for free, we will correct any chemical issues, provided that they are not the exceptions mentioned above.
Algae Free Guarantee
Customers on either our full or partial pool cleaning service programs can also expect we will correct any yellow, mustard, or green algae issues at no additional charge provided the following:
Pool equipment is in proper working order and no relevant quotes provided by Beyond Blue Pools have been declined by client
Pool equipment runs for the appropriate amount of time each day (10-12 hours per day during the spring and summer; 8-10 hours per day during the fall; 7-8 hours per day during the winter)
There is no landscaping touching the water of the pool or spa
Filter has been properly maintained with filter cleanings and replacing filter elements as needed
Pool water level has been consistently and properly maintained
Service has not been interrupted
Black algae is also guaranteed not to occur under normal circumstances. Exceptions to our Algae Free Guarantee for black algae include: worn plaster or other surfaces with pitting, certain natural stone waterfalls that do not have enough daily circulation or water flow to prevent growth, lack of sufficient daily circulation and filtration, and pools with broken sanitation systems including in-line chlorinators or salt generating systems that are not functioning properly.
It is important to remember that outdoor pools are open systems and as such, they collect some of whatever may be blowing around in the air or yard. Algae spores are constantly being introduced to swimming pools and killed (similar to how your body constantly interacts with germs but if your immune system is working properly most of them are killed without you ever knowing or getting sick). There are some strands of algae in Texas that are chlorine resistant to more than 20 parts per million of chlorine (far above normal safe swimming strength). If one of those strands is introduced it can take hold and bloom even in a perfectly balanced and cleaned pool depending on the circumstances. While no swimming pool service company can guarantee this will never happen, what we can do is guarantee to resolve it for ongoing pool service clients free of charge.
Note: This Guarantee means we will correct any algae issues free of charge provided they do not fall into one of the exceptions mentioned above.
